Acaofe Glub Season Closes Acacia club members met for their last session of the s season, Friday afternoon at the Edna Mae Hedquist home. Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth weight was hostess, and Mrs. LaVar Christenseh, president, presi-dent, was in charge. After business. La Von Menlove entertained with molion pictures taken on different vacation trips, including scenery in New York, (jnicago, throughout the southern states and in and around Provo and the state of TJta'h. ONLY DAYS LEFT OF BIG: JUNE WEDDING PLANNED ; Of special interest is announcement of the engagement of.Rhoda Clark Burningham, well known Provo city school teacher, to Edward Quinlan of American Falls, Idaho, prominent prom-inent rancher and L. D. S. church man. Wedding plans are being made for early June, the nuptials to be. held in the Salt Lake temple. The ceremony will be witnessed by Bishop Vard Meadows of American Falls, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meadows, of the lame city. -' A wedding dinner will follow at the home of Mrs. Burn-ing'ham's Burn-ing'ham's sister and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Teudt of Salt Lake City. The couple wiU visit bther places of importance im-portance on the coast. They will make-their home in American Falls. ' Mrs. Burningham has been teaching in the Provo city schools for the past 10 years, recently at the Joaquin school, where she has been music instructor; Also, she has been active ' in church work, particularly in music, servingr as chorister. Leaving early Saturday morning morn-ing for the Aspen Grove retreat, the group spent the first part of the . day playing softball, horse shoes, volleyball and other games.
