Holman Honored Today on Her 79th Birthday PLEASANT GROVE Mrs. Annie Holman, familiarly known as "Grandma to everybody in Pleasant Grove, will celebrate her 79th birthday Sunday, with open house from 2 p. m. until 8 p. m , Mrs. Holman, whose parents were among the earliest settlers in the community, has lived a rich, useful life. She has been active in all the church organizations, organiza-tions, ftfidspeciaUy is she known for her kind, cheerful disposition, and her assistance in times of sick-, ness or sorrow. She has six living children, 40 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The Jennie. Lee program will salute this charming personality Monday, January 27, at 9:30 a. m. Payson Girl to Go on Mission PAYSON Miss Mildred Pace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duke Page will leave on March 6 for the L. D. S. mission home in Salt Lake City and from there will go to New York to sail on March 22 for England to serve in the British mission. In her. honor a farewell social will be held in the Fourth ward next Wednesday, March 1. A program pro-gram will be followed with dancing danc-ing and the public is cordially invited in-vited to attend. The program will include selections by the Fourth ward male quartet, Arthur Jones, LeRoy Gale, Max Kerr and Stewart Schaerrer; reading, Miss Pearl Johnson; clarinet solo, Jack Barnett; talk, Miss Thelma Vest, a returned missionary; instrumental instru-mental music by the Page sister, Mildred, Wanda and Helen Page and MrsElmo Wi lson.
