Mr. Kirkwood is a graduate of Provo high school and has been employed in Los Angeles for the past three years. They will make their home in Los Angeles. Is Observed Wedding Day Boast In celebration of their twenty-V twenty-V eighth wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Muhlestein gave I a dinner Friday evening at their "- home. Places were set for 14 guests, including Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight 1 Billings, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bullock, Mr. and Mrs. Roy - Passey, Mr. and Mrs. John Bar- ney, Mary and Virginia Muhle-H Muhle-H stein. ' A pink and white decorative scheme was employed, the dining table being centered with sweet peas, and pink and white candles 'and favors being used. Games were piayed after dinner, din-ner, Mrs. A. A. Anderson and Benjamin Bullock winning- the prizes. Elinor Critchlow Editor of Annual Elinor Critchlow was elected editor of the 1939 Girls' Annual, Girls' Day magazine of Provo high school, at a meeting held by officers of the Girls' organization organiza-tion and members of the journalism journal-ism B class recently. Zoe Bullock and Charlotte Henriod will act as co-business managers. Alice Turner will be association editor. The election was under the. direction direc-tion of Sherman Wing, journal-Ism journal-Ism instructor, and Mrs. Ruth Bid-dulph, Bid-dulph, advisor of Girls' organization. organiza-tion. Elinor is the daughter of Mrs. Fred B. Crichlow, 314 North 6th East. She is assignment editor on the Provonian staff. Zoe is 3 vis' athletic manager; and-Char-lotte is -feature editor of the Provonian Pro-vonian as well as public service chairman. The magazine is published annually an-nually on Girl's day and contains a program of the day's events. A short story, poem, and coyer design de-sign contest will be sponsored by the sjtaff, the winning entries to be printed in the Annual. Trovata Holds Final Initiations Climaxing a month of rushing, j pledging, and gcating, the O. S. j Trotata unit of the B. Y. U. held its final initiation ceremonies Sat- urday evening at the home of Ruth , Taylor, for pledges Ruth Green- well, Beth Mendenhall, Barbara Anderson, Ruth White, Beth Hales, Lyda Whicker, Beth Bird, Dama Grant, and LaRae Alleman. The ceremonies included rituals enacted by Roslyn Eddington, former for-mer pres-'Jent, Doris Alder, treasurer, treas-urer, and Frances Hughes, - reporter, re-porter, and the final pledg was given by Elithe Fillmore, president. presi-dent. Violin music was played by Neva Strate, accompanied by Dorothy Durrant; piano selections were played by Jessica Udall. The group then motored to the "Literary League Night Club," a typical Metropolitan cabaret, which presented a festive scene with a great variety of red and white balloons.
