Bird of Provo, of the betrothal of their daughter, Hazel, to LaNell R. Hayward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hayvyard of this city, Vt he marriage to be an event of November 10, in the Salt Lake temple. A reception will be given that evening at the First ward hall, in compliment to the prominent young couple. They plan to leave immediately for a lioneymoon on the Pacific coast, and will return to Provo to make their home. Both are former students of the Brigham Young university, where Miss Bird was affiliated with the O. S. ocial unit, and Mr. Hayward with the Goldbrickers and Alpha Kappa Psi, commerce fraternity.
