Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wright and daughter have moved into the Mary Cooper home this week. Mr. Wright is the new representative representa-tive for the Metropolitan Life Insurance. In-surance. A skating pond for boys is being sponsored by the Third ward scout committee, Fred Shoell, H. S. Walker, S. W. Hilton, J. M. Macfarlane, Hyrum Johnson. John-son. O. M. S. club members met at the M. S. Christiansen home Thursday evening to make plans for their annual formal dinner partyThere were present: Mrs. Edna C. Clark has just returned re-turned from a visit in Idaho to see her granddaughter and the parents Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Clark. Thursday evening the stake presidency, stake clerk, high council and partners held a social in the Third ward amusement hall honoring two former high council-men council-men James D. Thome and A. L. Cullimore who have moved from the stake. Beth Drysdale and Elaine Fen-ton Fen-ton of Salt Lake spent last week at home. Mrs. Chastina Walker was guest of honor at a social Friday evening in compliment to her 79th birthday anniversary. Sons and daughter present were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. J Boyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Boyer of the Third ward, has accepted a call to labor in the northern states mission. He plans to leave for the mission, home in Salt Lake City, January 3, and for mission headquarters in Chicago, Chi-cago, January 22. " In his honor a farewell social is planned for Wednesday evening, eve-ning, in Fourth ward amusement hall. Members and friends are invited in-vited to attend. A farewell testimonial testi-monial will be held in the ward chapel later. DIVORCE SOUGHT Mrs. geneva Finch Smith is seeking divorce from her husband. hus-band.
