Wright. 80, cne of the oldest and most respected citizens of Pleasant Grove died at his home here January 1, after a ten months' illness. He was born in Lincolntnire, England, March 26, 1856 and when ten years old he came to Utah, locating immediately in Pleasant Grove where he has since resided. Mr. Wright was well known for j the successful nursery business i which he established, hie was an excellent landscape gardener and designer. The grounds of the Pleasant Grove Third ward church is an outstanding example of his wcik. lie has been an untiring worker for the upbuilding of the community both civically and religiously. re-ligiously. At the time of his death he held the office of high priest in the L. D. S. church and spent much time doing temple work. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ma:y B. Wright and ten of his sixteen children: John H. and Benjamin H. Wright, American Fork; Charles Wright. Idaho Falls. Idaho: Rube Wright. Gooding, Good-ing, Idaho; Leon Wright. Twin Falls. Idaho; Haiold Wright. Draper; Drap-er; Mrs. Austin Tyler, Provo; Donald Wright, West Jordan; Mrs. Calvin Walker and Clifford L. Wright. Pleasant Grove. There are 50 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and two sisters. Mrs. Hattie Bezzant. Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Theodoie Hansen. Salt Lake. Burial will be in the city cemetery Road Commsision Is Overruled In West Center Case The State Road commission can be sued in an injunctive action to prevent a trespass District Judge Martin M. Barson ruled Saturday Satur-day in an action brought against it by owners whose property abuts the overpass under construction construc-tion at Twelfth West and Center streets. The property owners ask for1 an injunction until they are compensated com-pensated for alleged damages done to their property by the construction con-struction they state. ' Judge Barson stressed that under the constitution private property cannot be taken or damaged for public use without just compensation. Also he recognized recog-nized t hiit the commission "is an' arm of the law and may not be sued except upon a written con tract made with it." "It is inconceivable." he stilted.1 however, "that the legislature intended in-tended to save or create a condition con-dition whereby the State Road commission might do that which no other body could do, to wit.
