Two were arrested for speeding. C. E. Allen Bernard pleaded guilty to .speeding over 50 miles an hour on the state highway at Ninth South street and was fined $15. Russell Madden, who also pleaded guilty to speeding was fined $10, with an alternative of 10 days in jail. C. R. Sehoenfeld, was arrested at Pleasant Grove for failing to stop at a stop .sign, was fined $5; A Haz'M was fined $5 for failing fail-ing to.top at a stop sign on Sixth East and Third South streets, and Iouis Hess was fined $5 for run-in run-in through the red semaphore light at University avenue and f "enter .streets. Howard Frandsen, Provo high school student, pianist, was judged judg-ed first place, Pansy and "Chuck" Wilkinson, with their father, Charles Wilkinson, in a clever musical skit, won second and third prize went to the chorus girl act from the Provo high school all-boys vodie, which featured fea-tured Gordon McCausland, Blaine Anderson and Wiliis Beardall.
