They plan to spend the summer traveling. 2f vfc Hardy-Johnson Engagement Announced Eugene Hardy is announcing the engagement of his daughter, Donna, to Lowell L. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Johnson of this city. TfTe" marriage is to take place the litater part of the month. Miss Hardy is a graduate of the Provo high school and Mr. Johnson will graduate from the P Y. U this spring. He is affiliated af-filiated with the Ag club. Vi neyard Ward Holds Banquet Covers were laid for 300 Utah county people at the banquet fponnored by the Vineyard ward building committee Friday evening jn the meeting house: The auxiliary organizations were in charge of the affair, as follows: (Tooking, Relief society; kitchen work, Primary officers; decorations decora-tions and serving, Y. V. M. I. A. (Gleaners serving!; tables and checking. Sunday school superin-tendency; superin-tendency; tickets, finance committee, com-mittee, Victor Anderson, John K. Allen, Joy O Clegg, Bradford Shumway, Hugh J. Davis and Clarence Gammon. Pink and green streamers were used on the tables, and pink tulips in green vases proved attractive. During the banquet, vocal solos were rendered by Russell Peterson Peter-son and Barbara Perrett,- accompanied accom-panied by Wanda Johnson; the Russon sisters of Lehi sang; the Vineyard male quartet rendered numbers and Marba Beth Johnson John-son of Lake View, tap danced, accompanied ac-companied by Cleo Nuttall. Dancing was enjoyed after the dinner, and music was furnished by a glee club of 30 voices. Walter Holdaway was master of ceremonies.
