WELSON Correspondent Fbone 04 An interesting marriage took place on Friday, when Miss Norma Greenhalgh, daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. William Greenhalgh of Santa-quin Santa-quin was wed to Wayne Kerr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kerr. TSie ceremony was performed by Bishop Bish-op George A. Cheever of the Fourth ward. The young couple will reside in Payson. Mrs. Byron Reece with her three children is visiting here with her mother. Mrs. Jennie D. MeClellan. Miss Elva Wignall and Misa Phyllis Alexander are visiting for a fortnight in St. George with Miss Wignall's grandmother, Mrs Sproul. Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Bates announce an-nounce the birth of a baby girl. Mr. Bates is junior high school supervisor for the Nebo school district. Mis. George Q. Spencer entertained enter-tained at a delightful luncheon Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. John F. Olson. The Misses Lillian SJoberg and Gwyn West chaperoned the members mem-bers of their Sunday school class on a picnic party to Saratoga Tuesday Tues-day evening. The usual sports were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamette and sons motored to Burley, Idaho Monday Mon-day and spent the week visiting wjth Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Simmons. Wayne Gamette rernained for a month's visit. Mrs. H. W. Jacobs and children spent Wednesday in Heber, the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Jacobs. Members of the Mothers Club were guests of Mrs. S. A. Kirk Thursday evening. The entertaining entertain-ing program which occupied . the first part of the entertaining period consisted of two vocal solos by Mrs. Velma Rasmuson of Provor a ladies' quartet from Provo;,. two numbers from the high school male quartet, and talks on Interesting1 exhibits at the world's fair by Mr. and Mrs. Leland Clark.
