HA-! LOOKS LIKE' 5 ARGOYLE 9 ml CZ3 Attractive in every detail was the wedding reception tendered Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim E. Twitchell (Fern Park) by Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam S. Park parents of the bride. Friday evening in the Sharon ward amusement hall. The young couple were married in the Salt Lake temple, June 7th, at 2:30 p. m. More than 175 guests were in attendance at-tendance at the wedding reception pink and white paper decorations proved attractive and numerous baskets and bowls of flowers were also tastefully arranged about the reception hall. Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam S. Park, received the guest?. The bride wore an elegant gown cf white silk crepe with silk over-lace over-lace and carried a lovely bride's bouquet of pink roses and bafcies breath. Mrs. Edna Penrod was matron of honor and she appeared in a white crepe frock. The bridesmaids brides-maids were Miss Zerma Jeffries who was attired in a dainty gray rough crepe dress, and Miss Betty Hatch who wore a pretty white organdy, trimmed in crimson. They each carried bouquets of pink and white peonies. Hugh Park, brother of the bride was best man. Dancing was an enjoyable feature. fea-ture. The music being furnishcl by the Tarn O'Srianters. Tasty re-lieshments re-lieshments were served. Mrs. Phil-lis Phil-lis Hancock and Mrs. Neta Blair were in charge of the refreshments refresh-ments and Mrs. Maud Park and Mrs. Mae Davis arranged the many handsome gifts received by the young couple. Mr. and Mrs. Twitch-el Twitch-el will make their home in Orem. The marriage of Bernice Gillman daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Gillman and B. F. Loader was solemnized at fhe Gillman home Thursday evening. The ceremony being performed by Bishop Stanley Stan-ley B. Harris of the Windsor ward. Twenty six relatives and friends of the young couple witnessed the ceremony. The bride wor.e a lovely love-ly gown of canary chiffon over satin and carried a bride's bouquet of roses and lily of the valley. Music and social conversation were enjoyed during the remainder of the evening. A well arranged and delicious luncheon was served to the following: Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Loader, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gillman. Gill-man. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gillman, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Limick, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fryer, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Phillips. Mr. and Mrs. Len Fryer, BisViop and Mrs. Stanley B. Four tables of bridge were played Mrs. John A. Vance winning the high score favor. A delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served at the tables. Those present were: Mrs. R. D. Wels.4 Mrs. G. D. William Robins, Mrs Clarence Wright. Mrs. A. J Wright, Miss Lillian Wright and Mrs. Anna Wright. Members of the Windsor ward held a social in the ward chape Tuesday afternoon, a splendid pro gram was followed by tasty refreshments. re-freshments. Twenty members were, in attendance. Mrs. George Harris entertained at her home Saturday afternoon for her nephew, Gean Richinfi whose birthday occurred on that day. Outdoor games and a delicious delic-ious luncheon were enjoyed by 2o little friends of the honor g-uest. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rudd and small daughter Carma of Parker. Idaho, spent the past several days with relatives and friends in Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon L. Burr of Susanv.lle, California, is an Orem visitor for a few days. William Burr and children Far-rell, Far-rell, Lula and Ada from Susanvillr. California, spent the past several days with relatives here, leavinc Friday for Koosharem. where they will visit with friends and relatives rela-tives for a few days. Mrs. Ruth Jensen of Murray is 3 guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fowers. Mrs. Elliott Jones and two children chil-dren and Mrs. Frances Hamilton and daughter of Salt Lake have returned to their homes after spending several days as guests of Mrs. Merrill Crandall. Mrs. Elva Roberts of Venice, California, is a guest of her mother. moth-er. Mrs. Alfred Nichols. Milton Smith of the Windsor ward left Wednesday for Czecho Slovakia, where he will fill a mission mis-sion for the L. D. S. church. Mr. Smith plans to be away for two years. A testimonial was given in his honor in the ward chapel Sunday evening. A splendid program was enjoyed after which a purse was presented to the honor guest. Mr. and Mrs JLester D. Mecham, parents of Mrs. William S. Park and Arlin Mecham a brother of Mrs. Park of Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Sharp Gillespie were among the out-of-town gruests.
