I feel very joyful over the prospects of this particular piece of legislation and I have promised Director Mead that when I return home I shall be very pleased to do all that I can to aid in having contracts signed immediately, so that we can start men working on this project this summer. "With reference to the postof-fice, postof-fice, under the terms of the bill as it has passed the house, the money that is made available can be used for building postoffices, as I understand it. Of course, we do not know as yet whether the senate sen-ate will make any change in this particular or not. If the bill passes pass-es the senate in its present form, then my opinion is that we should become active immediately to secure se-cure funds for our postoffice at Provo, and I believe that by a proper showing it is possible; in fact, quite probable, that we can secure sufficient funds for this building. I am doing what I can here in this particular matter at the present time, and should there be anything new develop, I shall advise you."
