Wendell Erlandaon entertained enter-tained the members of the Junior Delta Bridge club last week. The rooms were attractively decorated with lovely summer flowers. Bridge prizes were awarded to Mrs. Paul Davis and Miss Leona McClellan. The hostess was sasisted by lier mother Mrs. H. R. Brientenfeldt of Salt Lake. Miss Leita Lant was hostess at a bridge party Tuesday evening. Her guests included M..s Edith Ott, Miss Blanche Porter, Miss Zoe Johnson, Mrs. Wallace Brown, Mrs. Howard Shuler, Miss Madeline Robinson, Miss Grace Tanner and Miss Helen Reece. -u-.-s. Shuler received re-ceived the high score prize and Mrs. Brown, second high. Mrs. Henry Eilandson entertain ed the Senior Bridge club members Saturday afternoon at a most en joyable bridge luncheon. Mrs. J. S. McBeth, Jr., of Kansas City, Mrs. L. L. Gilpin of Elko, Nevada, Mrs. John Lant and Mrs. Dorothy Fe-land Fe-land were special guests. Mrs. J. A. Earl and Mrs. Feland received the prizes. m Mrs. Quincy Burdick entertained the ladies of the Sorosis Bridge club last week. Guests exclusive of club members who enjoyed her hospitality were Mrs. Lafe More- ley, Mrs. Dean Schaerrer, Mrs. Al-mon Al-mon Harmer, Mrs. Sterling Taylor, Mrs. Ned Wightman, Mrs. iean Wightman and Mrs. Harold Oker-man, Oker-man, Mrs. Sargent Barnett received receiv-ed the club prize and Mrs. Harmer the guest favor. Friends will be interested to learn- of the marriage of Miss Merilda Hudson of Santaquin and George H. Wilson of Payson which took place at the bride's home Tuesday night. Mrs. Roxey Vest Spencer of Pay-son Pay-son and David E. Gul) of Spanish Fork, were married Wednesday in the Manti temple. They will reside re-side in Spanish Fork. SPANISH FORK Mrs. Lily Rowe was hostess to the members of the Ladies Liter-ary Liter-ary club Friday afternoon. Four- teen members and the following special guests were present: Mrs. Sena Wilkins, Mesa, Arizona; Mrs. Ida Strang, California; Mrs. Beth Waldron, and Misses Blanche and Jennie Jones. The program: Community Com-munity singing, led by Mrs. Jane Jones; book review, "Kindred of the Dust," Mrs. Hazel Thomas; vocal and instrumental duets, Misses Blanche and Jennie Jones; Miss Beth Evans entertained with several readings. A delicious tray luncheon was served at five o'clock. Mrs. Hannah Rowe aifd Miss Beth Evans assisting the hostess. Summer Sum-mer flowers decorated the rooms. Mrs. Mildred Larsen was hostess to the members of the Amipie club Saturday evening at her home at Leland. The receiving rooms were decorated with summer flowers. Luncheon was served at the card tables at 8:30 to the members and the following special guests: Mrs. Lois Stewart, Mrs. Sayde Stewart, Mrs. Annie Eggertson, Mrs. Eva Lewis, Mrs. Lars P. Larsen, Mrs. Elinor Evans, Mrs. LuPreal Snow, Mrs. Lillian Money, Mrs. Leora Lar sen, Mrs. Nellie Larsen, Mrs. Alta Larsen, Mrs. John W. Moore, Mrs. Jack Gillespie and Mrs. Isaac Han sen. Five' tables of bridge followed luncheon, Mrs. Thelma McKell winning win-ning high score club prize and Mrs. Ann Phillips second high. Mrs. Eva Lewis, the guest prize. Mrs. Florence Ellett and three children came from their home at Salt Lake Sunday, to visit until after the Fourth with their par ents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Rowe. Mr. Ellett brought his family down but returned to Salt Lake the same evening. Mrs. Bertha Bowen was hostess to the Laurencelle club;. Friday night. At nine o'clock a delicious tray luncheon was served to the members and the following special guests: Mrs. Leora Larsen," Mrs. Blanche Swenson, Mrs. Amnion Ferguson, Miss Wilma Hansen, Mrs. Robert Grotegut, -Mrs. Rhea Swenson, Mrs. Elsie White, "and Miss Leah Swenson, all of Spanish Fork, and Miss Fern Bale, Payson-and Payson-and Mrs. Norma Prior, Denver. The rooms were decorated with a pro fusion of summer flowers. The folr lowing program was given: Ac- cordian solos, Mrs. Millie Schofield; reading of the four-act play. The Barretts of Wimpole Street, Miss Wilma Hanson; piaano solos, Mrs. Norma Prior. The club will meet July 8 with Mrs. Ruth Nelson.
