Church Rlay Repeated Here .The dramatic incidents concerning concern-ing the development of the character char-acter of Simon Peter, about the time of the crucifixion of Christ, are set forth in - the play, "The Rock," which will be produced for the third time by the Community church players this evening at & o'clock. The play is directed by the Rev. N. C. Wallin. The play is a panorama of the events taking place when first Peter was hailed from his fishing nets by the master. It shows him in his disgust as he realizes the man he is following is not going i to declare himself ruler of the pie following him, depicts him in his shame' after the crucifixion as he renins ht riniiv tiansports him to great joy in the happy ending 0ne of the "scenes i3 ,aid on the ton rtf hn,iw in Rotv,aT1 Drw, shows the distant city of Jerusalem Jerusa-lem and the three crosses on one side. The trouble with most of the cheaper violins is that the back isn't graduated properly in order that the tone might find a respond ing chamber and the right "kind of varnish isnt used. Much of the varnish used, he explained, ex-plained, stiffens inside of a year and checks the proper vibration of the instrument. Tr. Christensen plays the violin himself hut makes no claim to being be-ing much of a musician. Instead his pride is chiefly in the art of his 17-year-old daughter Rowena who can coax a silken tone out of the beautiful instrument her father has made. Mrs. Christensen contributes her bit to the family musical pool by playing the piano. For tools. Dr. Christensen has a gouge, beviled chisel, large and small planes, a set of perfoling tools, scrapes, a violin caliper and forms. Other than those his chief assets are a large patience, a fine sense cf craftsmanship and a passion pas-sion for the violin.
