Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur, the "oad boys-' of Chicago newspaper-dom, newspaper-dom, wrote the original stage play, which was a sensation on Broadway Broad-way when produced by Jed Harris. Hughes and Milestone have retained re-tained in the film version all of the rough humor which made the stage play famous.'-' A brilliant cast has been assembled as-sembled to Interpret the vivid roles of the play.
