S. Harris, the reception honored Mrs. T. N. Taylor, wife of the. president of 500 crirls called between 3:30 and 6:30 o'clock. . - The table was covered with a Tuscany lace cloth. In the center was a large bowl of orchid and cream chrysanthemums and snapdragons in a silver Ijowl.S - '- A handsome silver service was T T j tj used. The rooms were decorated HallOWe dl Idea with baskets of choice dahlias and chrysanthemums, furnished by Mrs. Maud Tuckfield Holdaway. String music was played by Barbara and Bernell Tietjen and Lucille Dyring. Guests were met at the door by Mrs. Elsie C. Carroll, Mrs. Orea B. Tanner, and Mrs. Charles J. La Conda Club At Bridge-Dinner Mrs. Ted Raymond entertained at her home in Springville Thursday Thurs-day evening, for members of the LaConda club. A delicious dinner was followed by bridge, and the members present pres-ent to enjoy the affair were: Mesdames T. L. Callister, Reuel F. Jacobsen, Howard Maycock, Darwin Boardman, Paul Thorn, Percy Anderson, Lowry Anderson, Eldores Smith, and Burton Frampton. Mrs. Sylvester Allen, Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Haymond and Mrs. Grant Thorn of Springville, were guests. The high score favor was won-by won-by Mrs. Lowry Anderson, Mrs. Grant Thorn, the second award, and Mrs. Percy Anderson, the consolation con-solation prize. Hallowe'en Party For Little Folks Little Barbara Ann Johnson was given a ' delightf ul 'Hanbwe'e'n party by her mother, Mrs. Lester Johnson, Thursday afternoon at the family home. The youngsters attended in Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en costumes, and an afternoon after-noon of games and lunch was enjoyed. Gay favors were given.
