Ingram, In-gram, the former Wanda Penrod, daughter of the William Albert Penrods of Provo, whose marriage to Mr. IngTam was an event of Monday Evening Eve-ning in the Salt Lake temple. The groom is a son of J. Oliver and the late Lula Frodsnam Ingram of Brigham City. George F. Richards Jr., performed the ceremony at 9 o'clock, in the presence pres-ence of members of the two families. A supper was tendered the young couple in Salt Lake City, after the ceremony. Mr. and MJrs. Penrod are giving a family wedding wed-ding dinner at their home this evening, after which the newlyweds will leave for an extended trip to Vancouver, B. S. social unit of the "Y" held at the Shirley Bee residence, resi-dence, the Misses June Bee, Alice Bown and Hazel Bird acting as hostesses. The rooms throughout were tastefully arranged with bouquets of chrysanthemums and roses. Miss Bee, who recently returned return-ed from a three months' vacation in the Hawaiian islands, showed her lovely collection of wood carvings, fine china, linens, em broidered satins, etc. Also, the girls enjoyed looking at pictures taken on the islands, and hearing Hawaiian records nlaved. Tasty refreshments were served, ser-ved, and Hawaiian linen napkins of tTight design added a pleasing pleas-ing note. Y Soph Loan Fund Ball November 11 Featuring the theme, "Farewell To Arms," accompanied by military mili-tary decorations, the Sophomore Loan Fund ball at Brigham Young P university has been scheduled for Nov. 11, announces Everett Man-waring, Man-waring, Vernal, chairman. The proceeds of this ball, given annually by the sophomore class, go to a fund to assist needy students stu-dents complete their education. Since the idea was inaugurated in 1922, each class has sponsored a dance to augment the fund. To increase the proceeds, the girls as well as men buy tickets.
