Wednes day evening at the First ward hall, when she gave an exceptionally exception-ally fine review of the book, "The Importance of Living," by Dr. Lin Yutang, noted Chinese and American Amer-ican scholar. Mrs Josephson 13 well known as a literary woman who always pleases her audiences, and Wed nesday s offering in Provo was no exception, judging from the various var-ious comments on the Utah-Sharon stake Y. W. M. I. A. Arts Pro- . gramme. Mrs. Adele Fielding, first counselor coun-selor in the Sharon stake Y. W M. I. A. presidency, presided, and several beautiful instrumental se- lectiurts were played by a trio, comprising the Misses Joie Batch elor, Martha Coleman and Helen DeGraff. Next week's program will be a talk, 'Discover Yourself or Live Life and. Like It," by Mrs. Katie C. Jr risen, who 4s well known to Provo women and men. Beauty. .omimidl S)a& EUaimge E33 slams NBVS Wedding Held At Payson PAYSON Of much interest to their large circle of friends was a marriage which took place last Friday evening, when Miss Ruth Arlene Clement, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clement of Eureka, became the brtde of Dr. Ma W. Stewart, son of Dr. and Mrs. L. D. Stewart of Paysqn. The wedding was at the home of the bridegroom's parents on West Utah Avenue, and the impressive ceremony was performed by Bishop Bish-op Robert L. Wilson, in the presence pres-ence of the immediate familtes of the bridal couple. The young bride was lovely in her gown of white satin back crepe and she carried a bridal bouquet bou-quet of p?ak bride's roses. The couple was unattended. A wed-dig wed-dig dinner followed the ceremony and was attended by eighteen guests. Dr. and Mrs. Stewart left after the wedding for their honeymoon honey-moon trip in Southern California. The bride formerly attended school at Tl'ntic High school and Brigham Youn? university. Dr Stewart Graduated from Brigham Young university, attended school for two years at the University of Utah and received his M. D-Degree D-Degree from Marquette university in 1936. He completed his internship intern-ship at St. Marks in Salt Lake City and is now practicing his profession pro-fession in Dividend where the young couple wA reside. Dinner Followed By Handwork Mrs. Maude Roberts entertained the Primrose club members at her home Wednesday afternoon. A delicious chicken dinner was served, the dining table being attractive at-tractive with pussy willows and greens. St. Patrick favors were given. Mrs. Joseph Roach of Spanish Fork, was a guest and the following follow-ing members were present: Mrs. Hazel Lewis.
