Holcomb, Salt Lake field representative of the Eleventh region of the board, announced today. Exnansion of claim adiudica- tion work to handle the growing ! river . The influx of claims emphasizes tne increased activity in this phase of the social security program, with an estimated 320,000 persons or their estates eligible for payments pay-ments in 1937, the field representative repre-sentative said. Of this number, about 125,000 will involve lump-sum payments to workers 65 years old, and 195,000, it is estimated, will be death payments to estates of workers who die before reaching this age or who reach age 65 before qualifying for annuity payments.
