That is the boxing menu in store for Utah county fans at Park Ro-She Monday night. Promoter Pro-moter Henry Jones completed negotiations ne-gotiations Tuesday for the titular match. Burke, present claimant of the welterweight title, hails from Og-den. Og-den. He has been the toast of in-termountain in-termountain welters for years, and has made convincing debuts on the coast and in the' east. Young, the rising ring sensation from Pay son, has not tasted defeat de-feat since launching his ring comeback after a period of illness months ago. A year ago last July Fourth, Burke and Young met at Park Ro-She, with the former winning in seven rounds. That was before Young had gained any ring experience ex-perience at all. He was a mere kid, a novice in the ring. Max 4is larger, faster and more formidable now. He feels confident of wresting wrest-ing the title from the Ogden fighter. Young has a terrific right-hand wallop, and a jabbing left that continually keeps his opponents off balance. Burke is rugged, fast, and an expert boxer. The semi-windup to the Young-Burke Young-Burke ten-rounder will be a six-round six-round match between Franky MersRin and Max Carson. Mer-skin, Mer-skin, the fast Portland slugger, dropped a bout to Max Young last week. Carson, who hails from Salem, boasts an impressive record. Glen Allen, Springville, and George Tucker, Provo, have been matched for a return four-round engagement on the same card. Allen recently scored a knockout over Tucker.
