ORGANDY FAVORED FOR GRADUATION FROCKS The Lions' Ladies recently appointed ap-pointed officers for the ensuing year, with the following results: Mrs. Martha E. SpeaKman, secretary; sec-retary; Mrs. JenaX V. Holland, recreational chairman, with Mrs. Lillian S Smart, Mrs. Norma Anderson An-derson and Mr9. Crystal Johnson. Mrs. J M. Redd was elected president at the annual report and election session, and Mrs. Melva Jensen was elected vice president. Meeting Held In Salt Lake A meeting ofx the Missionary Society of the Community church was held at the horns of Mrs. J. L. Ertel in Salt Lake City. Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. An attractive 1:30 o'clock luncheon was tendered, the tables being centered with 1 bowls of snapdragons. The program was on peace, and interesting papers were given by Mrs. H. E. Knapp and Mrs. C. L. Jones. Miss Julia Berlin gave devotions and Mrs. Howard Olsen reported on the church conference confer-ence held recently in Vernal. Twenty-one ' members were present. Durnell entertained in honor of her daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Keison (Madge Durnell) a recent bride, Wednesday evening at her hdme, and was assisted by Mrs. Harvey Higgins and Mrs. Ray Durnell. A red and white color scheme proved attractive, roses and peonies peon-ies centering the buffet, and red candles in silver holders standing at either end. Rose tallies were used and the tasty luncheon was also in rec ana white. Progressive bride was played, Mrs. George Loveless and Mrs. Ralph Hoover winning the favors. In the writing games, Mrs. John Workman and Mrs. James Smith received the prizes.
