Added thrills and fun on tomorrow's program include an Our Gang comedy, "Ad ventures of Rex and Ainty" 11 and Fox Movietone News TIMPANOGOS SCHOOLr Mr. Hilgendorf, a violin teacher, is coming to our school and is giving giv-ing free violin lessons to the -students with violins. He had a student three years old when she started, and now she is seven and can play a violin very well. We have a plan that when people peo-ple are late we make them pay one cent for every minute they are late. If they are absent three or more times without excuses, they are put out of the class. If the teacher is late he pays too. Mr. Hilgendorf is teaching four days a week. From our room there are: Wanda Wan-da Taylor, Cloyd Bestlemeyer, and Keith Jones who are taking lessons. les-sons. They take one out of each fifth grade, and one out of each sixth grade. The junior police are as follows: chief jut of Mr. Stahelis or Mr. Greer's room, sixth grade, whose name is Bill Box, and also a junior police, IsTo. his name is Jack Johnson; EIRoy I Jones from Mr. Tuttles' room, sixth grade; Larry Young from Mr. Graff's room fifth grade; Byron By-ron Harding from Miss Webb's room, fifth grade. Y. U. The exhibit is being prepared by Claude Snow, and it will consist con-sist of work done by the seventh, eighth and ninth grades. Ora Thompson. The Civics class will sponsor the Washington birthday ball. Don Bandley will De tne chairman of the dance. The money will go for a moving picture camera for the school, bought by the civics class. Edward M. Bown. Friday, January 17, the Provo high school, sponsored an assembly assem-bly at the Farrer Junior high school. The program consisted of two vocal selections by Blanche I Jones, accompanied by Parker Hansen, two readings by Helen Demos, two piano selections by Parker Hansen, and a reading by Bill Nelson. The 'rooms have been. painted in different shades of green while the halls are painted paint-ed in two shades of tan. Laban Harding, Lee R. Taylor Tay-lor and Byron Mendenhall were reelected as members' of the board of directors. Thomas E. Reece and George Chaffin were defeated candidates. Article 15 of the articles of incorporation in-corporation of the company was amended, changing the time for holding the annual meeting from the third Tuesday to the first Tuesday in January. An . assessment of fifty cents per share was levied for operation and maintenance during 1936, payable pay-able in two installments, May 1, and July 1. The financial report of the treasurer treas-urer was presented and an estimated esti-mated budget for the coming W. Fred Tanner, president of the board of directors gave a, report of the general condition of the corporation, particularly in regard re-gard to the water situation. At the present time there is 20 per cent more precipitation in the Strawberry. Valley than at this time last year, the measurement being from 52 to 58 inches with a good water content. A general discussion of matters pertaining to the water users followed the report. The matter of withdrawing withdraw-ing water from the unproductive acreage was taken up but there was no definite action. A meeting of the board will be held, on the first Wednesday in February when officers will be nameid.
