LaVerl Christensen, Miss Lucile Provost, Ed Wilson, Owen Provost and the hostess. Fred Allen of Payson spent Monday at the home of his nephew Newell H. Baum. Mrs. W. H. Wagner was taken to the St. Mark s hospital in Salt Lake Wednesday to undergo an operation. Mrs. Edith Whitaker has returned re-turned from Salt Lake where she has spent ten days at the home of her brother. Elmer Slack. Lynn Taylor gave an interesting lesson on Home Furnishings and decorations at Relief society Tuesday. Following the lesson, refreshments were served by Mrs. Elizabeth Allman, Mrs. Thomas Ashton, Mrs. Clarence Auhton and Mrs. A. E. Phillips. Clarence Ashton of the Utah county agriculture office left Monday Mon-day for Logan where he will spend ten days. Edgar Hall and children visited with Mrs. Hall Sunday at the L. D. S. hospital. He and .Mrs. Williamson had returned from California Friday in company with their daughter and son-:n-iaw, "irrand Mrs. Ed-mond Ed-mond Spalding, where they had been visiting for two weeks. They reported a wonderful trip, visiting visit-ing at the different beaches and at Las Vegas and Boulder Dam. They were the house guests of Mrs. Emily Scott at Watts, California. Cali-fornia. Blaine Anderson, son of Mrs. Thomas Boulton, was chosen to go to Ogden in company with two other Provo boys to represent Utah county in the judging contest con-test of the Ogden Livestock showr Miss Lora Dunn of Provo gave a splendid talk on her recent trip to the Hawaiian Islands, at the Lake View Relief society meeting Tuesday afternoon. She showed specimens and curios which was much enjoyed by those present. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Jorgensen and small grandson, Devon Jorgensen Jor-gensen spent Wednesday at Moroni Mor-oni visiting at the home of Heber Christensen. The many friends of Mrs. Zina Glade were shocked to hear of her death at Salt Lake Wednesday. Mr. William Glade, husband of Mrs. Glade formerly lived in Lake View before his marriage where he held many positions in the different auxiliaries of the church and filling a mission in the Northwestern states, representing Lake View.
