Spring Can't Be Far Off Bobby Samson, "Hercules c" the wrestling business," will be one of the big attractions at the Park Ro-She sports card Monday night, when the Pacific Coast welterweight welter-weight champion comes to tackle the slippery Henry Jones, grand wizerwower of grappling in these parts. Samson is reputed to be the most perfectly built man in the game. Strong and supple, he has done some of the best bone-bending on the coast, and has beaten all the best welterweights. He has met Jones before. On Jones' last trip to Oregon the pair were matched and put on a sensational sen-sational bout. They wrestled two hours to a draw and sent the fans home lathering. The semi-final attraction is likewise a humdinger. Lew Ke-tonen, Ke-tonen, an aggressive and polished grappler from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Wiscon-sin, will clash with the Canadian champion. The basketball team of the Lions club bowed for the first time this year in Civic league competition when a fast-moving De Molay quint set them back 39 to 32. In the other game of the league the Lew Burn Barber shop team, which originally went by the name of Gem Sweet shop and then Ed's Cabaret, went brilliant ly under its new name by smoth ering the Van's team 44 to 32. The De Molay team took a two point lead in the first quarter from the Lions, then stretched the advantage to a 24-17 at halftime and kept this margin throughout. Boshard, Street and Gillis were the foremost scorers for De Molay with Homme and Met Wilson lead ing the Lions. M.
