Buttle previously, won the city open title. Hansen stuck close to the champion cham-pion for most of the route but But- te's steadiness and his brilliant putting handed , him the match as they, came to the final nine holes. Large, field Enters The victory was a hard-earned one as Buttle has been forced to Win , over a large field which narrowed nar-rowed down to four top-notch golfers golf-ers in the four diyons of the tourney. Sterling Bean won the May leg, Buttle annexed the June leg, R. A. Hansen took the July leg and W. L. Snow won out in the August leg. Hansen won from Snow in the grand semi-final match and Buttle went to. the finals with a victory over Bean.
