Peirce, Eggertsen and Hoover did Orem's pitching, allowing a total to-tal of 15 hits, and the Oremites touched Clegg and Pyper for 12 socks. Hoover Js credited with the victory for Orem, and Pyper with the defeat. Hoover also hit one of the three home runs, Voorhees and Murdbck accounting for the other two. Laffoon Wins Golf Title SALT LAKE Ky Laffoon of the Denver Green Gables golf club won the Utah open golf championship champion-ship Sunday when he cut the Salt Lake Country club course to ribbons rib-bons with his accurate drives and expert irons.
