A, Ball M s .... . DELIGHTFUL in every detail was the annua Utah stake "Cold and (liven" ball, held in the B. Y. U. Ladies' gym Tuesday evening, and largely attended by members of the stake. Haljh Migliaccio's orchestra furnished the music. An attractive feature of the affair was the "Gold and Green" contest dance, ('remonstrated by couples from each of the nine wards of the stake. Also the "Viennese waltz" was presented by the following- group: Claude Snow, and the Misses Dorothy Jones, Floy Hansen, Louise Swenson, PhylH.s Robinson. "It's Up To th Women," has been chosen as the theme, and an endeavor will be made t emphasize empha-size this idea throughout the convention. con-vention. There will be a meeting of the board of directors, Thursday, April 27, at S a. m., followed by the formal opening at i:30 a. m. Relief Society Plans Drive For Heme Beautifying Instructions on "Beautifying Home Surroundings and Chapels" will be given by the Utah Stake Relief Society board members to the ward presidency members at union meeting Sunday at the B. Y. U. Tiic presidents presented the outlined ma'.Ji'i ial to the Relief Society women at their respective meetings Tuesday afternoon. Valuable Val-uable suggestions along this line are to ije given out, and it is announced an-nounced that the work and business busi-ness committee is trying to work out a definite plan on the same idea. Women who have extra plants are urged to notify their president, so that they may make an exchange ex-change and thus increase the variety va-riety of their potted blooms. The Relief Society board has appointed ap-pointed Mitt. L. 11. Holbrook chairman chair-man of a committee to arrange for talks dealing wtih prohibition, the word of vvislom, and law and constitution enforcement. Ten-minute Ten-minute talks on these topics will be given in the Relief Society meetings on April 25, also on May 9, according to Mrs. Aehsa E. Paxman, stake Relief Society president.
