The husbands were the guests on this occasion. occa-sion. An attractive centerpiece for the long banquet ban-quet table was a huge five-layer birthday cake, with trimmings in the club colors, pink and ivory. Three pink candles topped the cake. Pink and ivory tapers stood in handsome silver holders, and silver vases held pink and ivory rose buds. The place cards were gay, and tiny individual individ-ual three-layer birthday cakes, holding one pink candle, lent a pleasing effect. Beautiful pink and ivory roses were tastefully arranged in baskets and bowls throughout the ball room. Mrs. Oliver Dalton, chairman on . Whitehead;" "To the Cake Trimmings," Trim-mings," Mrs. LeRoy J. Robertson; "To the Candles On the Cake," C. La Voir Jensen; "To the First Piece of Cake," Mrs. Parley Christensen, representing the new members. Mrs. Oliver Daiton rendered a SHE (FOUND arrangements, introduced Mrs. Ray-, beautiful vocal solo, accompanied by Mrs. Gerald Heaton. Dr. Walter D. Tueller cut and served the birthday cake, after which Carl D. Swenson gave a toast, "To the Men." Four novelty tap dances were presented by students of Teas Childs Packard of Springville, and dancing concluded the charming affair. Included on the committee on arrangements ar-rangements were: Mrs. Oliver Dalton, Dal-ton, chairman; Mrs. L.. DeVere George and Mrs. Walter F. Whitehead. White-head.
