(U.KK Fourteen year old Drexel Ivie found himself , acclaimed as a hero recently recent-ly w'nile the Boy Scout organization organ-ization was indirectly credited cred-ited with the saving of a life. Drexel, his brother James - and Father Ray -Ivie. .were repairing a fence along Little Wood river when James perceived per-ceived the body of a small child floating down the r.tream. James plunged into the stream and brought the child, James Baird, Jr., 5, to shore. Drexel, immediately started resuscitation along vhe lines Vie had been instructed in' his Boy Scout work. After one hour, the. child showed the fTPst signs of reviving re-viving and at the -end of an hour was conscious. He was well on the road, io recovery today.
