Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock, fire destroyed his large double chicken coop with 1500 laying lay-ing hens and -his small dwelling house and furniture. The loss is only partially covered by insurance. Six weeks ago Mr, Adams young wife died, and since1. that time he has been staying with his parents who live neighbors to his farm in the south end of .Manila ward. Mr. Adam's Coop is lighted automatically auto-matically and it is believed that defective de-fective wiring caud the conflagra. tion. Although ihePleasant' Grove fire departmenfwa's rushed out the flames had gained too much .headway .head-way to be quenched. The fire was discovered by "Ara'srnxtner, Mrs. Dan Adams. The loss was estimated at over $4,000. TREASURER REPORT Disbursements of Provo city throughout the month of March were $26,757.74 and funds received were $29,104.45, according to the report of T. J. Oldroyd, city treasurer. 9& I ' M . EORMERPROVO RESIDENT DIES King for a Day! Consequently, authorities authori-ties are on the lookout for a man who bears knife wounds. 3 Evidently robbery was not a himself by sudden flight motive, which confines the hunt to a search for persons who might have borne a grudge against the cli man. This fact also localizes the manhunt to this immediate vicinity.
