H., Jan. 21 aUP) Public alarm over an outbreak of rioting and terrorism was aroused again today when a young woman was attacked and her escort waylaid way-laid and robbed. The attack, latest of a long series of violent crimes which have thrown the "Paradise of the Pacific" Pa-cific" into turmoil, spurred a search for Daniel Lyman, 22, murder convict con-vict who escaped New Year's eve from Oahu prison. Both the victims, Mrs. Taka Okazaki, 29, mother- of two children, chil-dren, and Takeo Horamoto, 24, her escort, assertedly identified Lyman as their assailant from a police photograph. :: They were attacked while seated in Horamoto's machine near John Rogers airport, seven toiles from business section of HOnomlu. The scene was near a well travelled highway leading to Pearl Harbor navy base, where four persons ac cused of the "honor slayme" or a young Hawaiian are awaiting action by the territorial grand jury. Provo High Grad In Washington George W. Baker, graduate of the Provo high school in 1929, is in the service of the government at the capitol grounds in Washing ton, D. C., according to word re ceived by bis parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Baker. The young man will resume his studies at George Washington uni versity, where he expects to major in Journalism. Since graduating from the Provo high school, young Baker, has attended the University of Wyoming at Laramie, and the Annapolis prep school at Annapolis, Md. At the present time Mr. Baker is the house guest of Congressman Vincent Carter from Wyoming.
