Y U. heiJ their annual Christmas party at Keeleys Saturday evening. An attractively decorated tree, and novel trimmings on the wall assisted in promoting the Yule Hf spirit. A beautiful card bearing the inscription, "Christmas Greetings, Greet-ings, Mates" was the feature of the clever scaeme. Dancing way enjoyed and a tasty lunccon wa served. U., held Saturday evening at the K home of Miss Hanna Prusse proved prov-ed one of the most delightful social events of the holiday season. Miss Bessie Taylor was the assisting as-sisting hostess. ' A delicious dinner was served, the guests being seated at small tables which were attractively decorated dec-orated with small Christmas trees. Holiday fcolors and motifs were employed throughout- the'entertam-ing the'entertam-ing rooms. Christmas gifts were exchanged and bridge was played later in the evening. The finals, held Sunday night, climaxed a round of competition starting last May. The field had been limited to 10 for the final audition. Other winners are: Second place Thelma Gaskln, coloratura soprano of Orlando, Fla.. and Eugene Byron Morgan, baritone bari-tone of Painesvilie, Ohio.
