Notice is ' hereby given that the Provo Brick and Tile Co., a corporation, corpor-ation, whose principal place of business, busi-ness, is Provo, Utah, has made ap-plication ap-plication in accordance with the requirements of the Session Laws of Utah, 1919 to 1929 incl. to appropriate appro-priate 4 c. f. s. of water, from an Unnamed Spring Creek in Utah County, Utah. Said water wjll be diverted at ,a point which bears S. 81 01' E. 489 ft. from the N'4 cor. Sec. 36, T. 6 S., R. 2 E., S. L. B. and M. and conveyed a distance of 1300 ft. where it will be used from January 1st to December 31st incl. of each year for the propogation of fish. Said $50,000.00 Refund' J ng Waterworks Bonds, Series of July 1. 1931, shall be deposited with the City Treasurer for delivery, deliv-ery, to the First Security Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, a Utah corporation, on or after July ' 1, 1931, in exchange for $50,000.00 bonds of said City, to be refunded as of July 1, 1931, the agreement j of said First Security Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, to make said exchange being satisfactory to this Board of Commissioners, it being the best and most advantageous; offer received in connection with said bonds, the same being hereby and in all respects ' ratified and confirmed. The said refunding bonds shall be issued only in exchange of a like principal amount of the bonds hereby to be refunded in such a way that the debt of Provo C?Hy is not increased through the issuance issu-ance of these bonds, the intention being to change but not to increase in-crease the indebtedness of said City. Section 5. That all ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or-dinances and resolutions in conflict con-flict with the provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed and after said bonds are issued, this ordinance shall be and remain re-main irrepealable until said bonds and the interest thereon shall have been fully paid, satisfied and discharged dis-charged as herein provided. ' Section 6. The City Recorder is hereby instructed and directed to cause copy of this ordinance to be published immediately in one issue of the Provo Evening Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in and printed and published in Provo City, Utah. Section 7. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Provo City, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of said City that this ordinance become operative immediately. Section 8. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that an emergency emerg-ency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon the day of its passage approval and publication. The da.nce was directed by Miss Orpha Robinson. The Payson Onion Growers' Grow-ers' association was represented by Ray Bills and Berkley Hall who staged a balloon boxing contest which was well received by the audience. au-dience. The two: lads had a dozen large balloons tied to tneir waist, the boxer who was successful in "breaking his opponent's balloons first won the match. After several minutes of fierce combat, Bills was awarded the fight. Orval Anderson and Wendell Kectch, represented the Orem-Lin-doji Dairy association. Farrell Collett, representing the UtDh-Wasatch Dairy association, brought much applause with a rhalk talk in which he portrayed tbo value of cooperative marketing. market-ing. The Utah Cold Pack was represented rep-resented by a male quartet composed com-posed cf James Jensen, Moroni Jensen, Arlen Pyne and Seth Lar-3en. Lar-3en. Dance Ends Festivities The day's activities were brought to a fitting climax with a dance in the pavilion, and as Verdi's Columbians Colum-bians played taps, whtch sent the crowd on their homeward journey -hortly after midnight, all were of .he same opinion it was SOME outing.
