Vje also received an invitation visit the plant. Our parents were kind enough to take us to the plant. Forty pupils and teachers made the trip. We learned three maitfTreas- ons for ..a central meat, packing plant in any community, bur plant handles- about 4500 animals per year.. The. animals used, are beef, hogs, sheep. ?These , animals come from Utah, and Summit counties. Mr. Scott, the manager, was very courteous to us and showed us through the entire plant. We were surprised to see such an interesting interest-ing place because we had different ideas about . the slaughter house. We saw them kill beef, sheep, nogs while. we were there.
