Show Plans Discussed By Women's Council Group This Week Plans for a project to raise money for the Provo municipal muni-cipal swimming pool were discussed by Women's Council members at a board meeting held Monday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Armand Eggertsen, president. November is the month set for completion of plans. Mrs. James S. Judd, membership chairman, announced that the Membership Banquet, an annual council event, is scheduled for Oct. 24 at 7:30 p. m. in the clubhouse. All members are asked to participate. Mrs. Eggertsen presided at the ession, and Mrs. Iliff S. Jones read the club collect. Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Greer gave the financial report re-port In the absence of Mrs. J. W. Charming hostess to members of Lambda Tau Monday evening was Mrs. Bert Bullock, who also presented the program. Topic of Mrs. Bullock's discussion discus-sion was "Hobbies," and she advocated ad-vocated such diversions for everyone, young and old alike. Lodge Women Attend Event Ten members of Deborah Re-bekah Re-bekah Lodge No. Six went to Payson Monday evening to visit the Beehive Rebekah Lodge No. 24 when Mrs. Lulu Havens, state president, made her official visitation. visi-tation. Mrs. Havens, a resident of Vernal, Ver-nal, spoke to members on the meaning of lodge colors, which are pink and green. The speaker was presented with a gift by noble grand of the Payson lodge. BYU Women Make Plans For' ; Opening Meet "One World In Science" is title of a decalogue scheduled to be presented at the opening meet of the season for BYU Women and their guests Saturday at 3 p. m in banquet room of Joseph Smith building. Mrs. George H. Hansen, president presi-dent of the group, announced today to-day that the seven participants in New Members initiated OREM Initiation ceremonies were held foj new members of the Lincoln high school chapter of the Junior Organized Club of Service at the school last week.
