FURNISHES HOLIDAY LIGHTING Some 123 cities and towns in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming will j again receive annual Christmas gifts from the Utah Power and Light Co. free electricity for holiday lighting decorations installed in-stalled on city streets and parks. J. C. Littlelield, Salt Lake division manager, said free electricity elec-tricity to illuminate Christmas i lights in communities where the j firm's distribution lines run ij , available between dusk and mid-! mid-! night. The company also will run necessary service wires- to connect con-nect installed lights to the utility lines. Free Xmas lighting to these communities is a long-standing j custom with UP&L. Last year, the utility provided 237,784 Jkilo- watt-hours of free electricity to j illuminate 43,044 holiday bulbs i in 123 cities and towns. Of these, some 18,150 bulbs were lighted Jin 25 communities in Salt Lake : county and the southwest corner of Wyoming, |
