She graduated from Uintah High School and is attending Utah State University. She is currently employed with Ashley Regional Medical Center. The groom is the son of Shane and Carrie (Samuels) Reary of Roosevelt. He is currently employed with BHI. He is the son of Ray and Sally Galloway. He spoke in the Maeser 3rd Ward Sunday, Feb. 24. Trinity Diane Harding, daughter of Nicholas and Stephanie . She became a sister sis-ter of the organization on Nov. 6, 2006. She has been married to Kelly Hays for 39 years. The couple have a son, Cory, and two grandsons, Toby and Teddy. Kathy is retired from Albertson's, where she worked for more than 30 years. Lynnette is a member of the Uintah High School chapter of the National Honor Society as well as the manager for the Uintah High U'ettes. She is an advanced violinist with the Uintah Uin-tah School of Music and Arts. She studies clogging, jazz and ballet at the Powerhouse dance studio and is a member of the Worldwide Association of Performing Arts Clog America team. She will be performing with Clog America at two international festivals in France and Spain in July. - Lynnette expresses her appreciation appre-ciation for her family and friends as well as to the Vernal 2nd Ward, young women leaders and ward members who encouraged and supported her in achieving this goal. UINTAH FFA EXCELS AT CONTEST On Feb. 12, the Uintah FFA Chapter attended the Area VI FFA Leadership contest in Roosevelt to compete in FFA Leadership Career Development Events against five other area FFA chapters. Uintah FFA placed first in parliamentary procedure and prepared public speaking. Uintah placed second in extemporaneous public speaking and in FFA creed speaking. Uintah FFA's prepared public speaker, Adrianne Francisco, also placed first. While in the FFA creed speaking event Alesha Chandler took second place qualifying for the state contest. Kamil Chandler placed second in extemporaneous speaking. Those placing first, and the second place creed speaker will go on to compete in the state contests held at the Utah FFA Vernal Junior High School's Walker Moon has been selected out of 200 other Utah students to travel as an ambassador to China through the People to People Organization. Moon is the son of Shawn and Sara Moon of Vernal. Academic excellence helped Moon achieve this once - in a lifetime opportunity. ll As ambassador Moon will participate in a cultural exchange learningabout Chinese civilization, while teachingabout America's history. He says his interest in American history will serve him well throughout his travels. The People to People Organization has 50 years of experience sponsoring travel, for young scholars.
