Show Vernal Express, Wednesday, March 29, 2006 B3 V ' Jr' - Joni Searle and Ryan Dart Searle and Dart celebrate Jeffery Winn and Shaunna Pilling Pilling and Winn to wedding Saturday, April 1 marry Saturday, April 1 Joni Lalynn Hatch Searle and Ryan David Dart married Dec. 30, 2005. They will celebrate cel-ebrate their wedding with a reception on Saturday, April 1 at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel, 250 N. 200 W. from 7 to 9 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mary Hatch and the late Milburn Jr. Hatch of Vernal. She graduated from Uintah High School. Her children are Trevon and Bradon Searle. The groom is the son of MarLynn Johnson Dart of Vernal and David R. Dart of St. George. He graduated from Uintah High School. He is currently cur-rently employed with Tech Tac Company. The couple will make their home in Vernal. Shaunna Pilling and Jeffery Winn have chosen to be married mar-ried Saturday, April 1, at the Vernal Elks Lodge. A reception will be held that evening at the Vernal Elks Lodge from 6 to 8 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Peggy and Sergio Menegassi, of Green River, Wyo., and the late Wayne Pilling. She is currently employed with Alltel. The groom is the son of Steve and Claudine Winn of Tridell. He is currently employed with Wheeler Machinery. The couple will make their home, and their new life together togeth-er with his two daughters in Tridell. Outlaw gang plays to a packed house On Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m., the Outlaw Music Studio hosted it's 2nd Annual music "Rendezvous" at the Golden Age Center in Vernal. Various groups of musicians of all ages and abilities played to a packed house of friends, families, extended families and other community members. Opening the program were special guests, Amelia McCurdy, Stephanie Cook, , Jake Richardson and Jessica Johns from Angela Bascom's Breakaway Studio, who played "Air and Minuet in G" on classical clas-sical guitar. Angela Bascom, Mistress of Ceremonies, then introduced the first group of Outlaw Music Studio's musicians musi-cians as "having more enthusiasm enthu-siasm than most of us are ready for." Rachel Roberts and Rickanne Pummell on mandolin, man-dolin, and Karter Rook and Tyemen Wurthen on violin treated the crowd to their rendition ren-dition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and played and sang "Go Tell Aunt Rhodie." Next were young guitar students stu-dents Sheena Pummell, Jacinda Parslow, Bradon Atwood, Duel Hacking and Garrett Pummell who played the Mississippi Hot Dog variation of "Twinkles" and a guitar ensemble version ver-sion of "Go Tell Aunt Rhodie," which included the main melody, melo-dy, harmony, chords, and bass parts of the tune. Proving that youthfulness and usican fun can come at any age were Becky Evans, Tammy Carroll on violin and mandolin, mando-lin, with Jan Powell on guitar playing "Happy Farmer" and "Grandfather's Clock." The tunes "Are You Sleeping, Brother John?" and "Bonaparte's Retreat" were revved up with the playing skills of Bailey McKee, Kaden Strole, Rhet Garener, Haylee Crane, and Jacinda Parslow all on electric guitars. Following the electric guitar gui-tar were a group of fiddlers, Nick Peterson, Calvin birchell, Jacinda Parslow, Bailey Evans, Kaitlyn Powell, Carl Brown, Chelsea Strole, and Josh Ellis playing ensemble versions of "Andantino" and "Soldier's Joy." Rounding out the afternoon after-noon of music were members of the fiddling and bluegrass group String Creek, who played a mandolin quartet version ver-sion of "Going to Boston," a Johnny Cash-inspired version of Orange Blossom Special, an acoustic "Sweet Home Alabama," and "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." The members mem-bers of String Creek in attendance atten-dance were Carson Parslow on bass, Jacinda Parslow, man-dola, man-dola, mandolin, fiddle; Presley Beynon, fiddle, mandolin; and Bart Parslow, Irish bouzouki, guitar, and vocals' ' The Outlaw JMtusic Studio, owned by Bart Parslow, would like to thank everyone for their donations, which more than covered production costs and will help fund the next event. He also thanks Dale Allred for running the sound, the Golden Age Center, Big Foot Fly Shop, the volunteers, student's fami-lies fami-lies who attended the program, and a special thanks to the students who hung in there through the rehearsals and performance per-formance to make the event a success.
