The couple will make their home in Vernal. Marvin Jackson celebrates 90th birthday April 11 Marvin G Jackson was born April ll, 19 14, in Venial to William Elijah and Susie May Gillman Jackson. He graduated from Uintah High School in 1933, where he lettered let-tered in football and opera. He married Anna Aretta Smuin on March 10, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 8, 1934. Together, they were blessed with six children: Marva of Desert Springs, Calif., and Shirley, Marilyn, Brent, LaJeanne and Linda, all of Vernal. They also have 27 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren grand-children and a great-great granddaughter. grand-daughter. MDA, Health Fair need volunteers Volunteer helpers are needed to help staff the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) fund drive Wednesday, April 28 and the TriCounty Health Department TriCounty Safe Kids Fair Saturday, May 8. The annual MDA "lock up" will be held at Stockmans Restaurant this year and needs six to 10 volunteers volun-teers who are 21 years old or over and who have a valid drivers license. These volunteers will pick up the pre-notified employees at their businesses and take them to the Restaurant Stockade and return them in cars that will be donated for the transporting. Volunteers are also needed by MDA as greeters, photographers and pledge center workers who will stuff envelopes to get mailings out for the fines. TriCounty Safe Kids Fair will use volunteers for their games and rides, wall climbing, inflatable slides, door prizes and bike rodeo. The Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Vernal Middle School May 8 and May 22 at the Roosevelt Junior High.
