Frank Joklik, President and Chief Executive Officer, Aug. 26 by a majority vote. He succeeds Thomas K. Ties will be broken by using the tie-breaker. The person with the smallest point differential between actual scores and predicted scores will win the tie breaker. If after using the tie breaker there is still a tie. then whoever had the closest score to the winning team will be the winner. If at this point there is a tie then the point will be split among the tied contestants. As a result of the proposed increase, the tax on a $58,000 residence will be $12.76, and the tax on a business having the same value as the average value of a residence in the taxing entity will be $23.20. Without the proposed pro-posed increase the tax on a $58,000 residence would be $10.30, and the tax on a business having the same value as the average value of a residence in the taxing entity would be $18.73. The Central Utah Water Conservancy District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue from $403,430 collected last year to $441,846 proposed this year, an increase of 9.5. Total tax revenue from all property within the taxing entity for 1996 was $14,344,404. The anticipated total tax collections for 1997 will be approximately $18,139,527, an increase of 26.5. The 1997 proposed tax rate is 0.0004. Without the proposed increase the rate would be 0.000323.
