There is only one catch. The signal sig-nal will not be turned on until Nov. 26, a day after Thanksgiving. , According to LeBeau, the new translator site on Bruin Peak requires re-quires a BLM 30-day comment pe- riod before it can be turned on. This waiting period will not be up until .Nov.26. ' , . New equipment has been installed at the county television translator on Blue Mountain to receive the Channel 14 signal from Bruin Peak. The county system will 'place the Larnj Miller television channel on Adult city league volleyball standings UHF channel 15. This system is ready as soon as the signal is turned on. LeBeau is nearly finished with another an-other system to serve Duchesne County. The Butcherknife translator will beam to residents of the Bluebell and Roosevelt area on UHF channel 19. The new translator network for the Basin area has been financed by KJZZ at a cost of over $24,000. The system will allow area television viewers to watch the NBA games played by the Utah Jazz. Insight Cablevision in Ashley Valley will place the new television station on its cable system as soon as it can negotiate a channel number with KJZZ and give a 30-day notice to its viewers, . reported Clinton Scott, local manager. The first will be a 'Turkey Splash' held on Friday, November 26th from 1 to 9 p.m. The. pool will be open the day after Thanksgiving for this event and cost will be .50 cents ' for students 3 to 17 years of age and $1 for adults 18 and over. ' Different activities will take place during the day including rubber raft relays, duck races, diving contests and an underwater challenge. On Friday, Dec. 3rd the swimming swim-ming pool will host a Moon Light Madness Swim for teens in 8th through 12th grades. The pool will be open for teenagers from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight. Activities that will be included in the Midnight, Swim will be a lip sync contest, water relays, games , and much more.
