These painful warts may affect walking and are unsightly as well. Usually, they grow on the soles of the feet, but sometimes occur on the toes or the top of the foot. If other treatments fail, your podiatrist can remove them surgically. Treatment: Curettage. The wart is scooped out with a curette, a special surgical instrumentThe base is then cauterized (seared either electrically or chemically) to discourage regrowth. Follow-up Care. You can pursue normal -activities right after surgery. However, warts are due to a virus and can recur (like the flu, which you can have more than once). These windows actually detect radiant heat, and, like a thermostat, restrict its flow. That makes them 33 more energy efficient than ordinary double-pane windows in the heating months, and 13 more efficient in the searing summer sun.
