Bishop Glendon Hanberg conducted the services. The family prayer was given by Leon Oaks. Prelude and postlude music was played by Melba Eaton. The invocation was offered by Clayton Southam, followed by a musical number, "These Hands" sung by Dorothy Luck and Daun DeJournette, accompanied by Melba Eaton. Remarks and obituary were read by Bishop Hanberg. Clyde Anderson spoke, followed by a musical number, "Old Rugged Cross" sung by Dorothy Luck and Daun DeJournette, accompanied by Melba Eaton. Leon Moon gave the benediction. Interment was in the Jensen Cemetery. Pallbearers were: David Sims, Rocky Clark, Rex Anderson, Brad McClcllan, Roddy Ainge and Percy Stewart Jr. The dedicatory prayer was given by Percy Stewart. Vernal Seventh Ward Relief Society was in charge of the floral arrangements. Services were under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. He was born July 29, 1927 in Sundance, Wyo., to Forrest Charles and Violet Grace Walbcck Julius. The family moved to Osage, Wyo., where Voy attended Elementary School. He attended high school in Newcastle, Wyo., until he joined the Navy. During W.W. II he was stationed in San Diego, Calif. He married Rose Pallet, but was later divorced. He came to Vernal in April of 1962 to work in the oil fields. He married Elaine Turner Moore on October 20, 1962. He worked for Shaffer Tool for seven years, they transferred htm to Odessa, Texas. He came back to Rangcly, Colo., where he started his own business, Bi-Co Rental. He worked there for 2 12 years, then went to work for Acme Tool and was transferred to Vernal. He worked for Acme Tool for 12 years as a salesman and regional sales manager, until bad health forced him to retire. Voy was a member of the LDS Church, a charter member of the Vernal L'ks Club, he al) enjoyed fishing, camping, boiling and limiting. He is survived by his wtfe, three -!; and ihti daughters, Chafle. David, LJJy, Donna, Vivian and CT-anye, One traher, R G. JuU. Vr; Leisha Remkes Infant Leisha Remkes died Leisha Remkes, infant daughter of Phillip Boyd Lafecn and Charisc Remkes passed away January 23 at home of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. She was born November 2, 1988. She is survived by her mother, loving Uncle Guy Morris, grandparents Gregory Scott and Chirelle Yarbro Vernal; grandfather Hcndik Remkes, Aunt Marcie Remkes, Salt Lake City; great grandparents Max and Donna Peterson, Mrs. M. Remkes of Sandy and many aunts and uncles. Gravsidc services for Leisha Remkes were held Thursday, January 26 at the Vernal Memorial Park.
