The bids will be opened at the Manila town office. This project has four phases: A,B,C and D. Dave Wilding of Wilding Engineering Engineer-ing of Bountiful, Utah met with the town of Manila at 1 p.m. on Aug. 10 to discuss last minute details of the project. pro-ject. Monies for the project have already been received. Terry Reed and Lisa Briggs returned return-ed home last weekend after attending a Rural Electric Seminar at the University of Utah from July 31 to Aug. 4. While at this seminar Terry and Lisa attended classes which told what co-ops are and how they are organized in other countries as well as our own country. They also had classes on self-esteem and setting goals. Terry and Lisa won their way to this seminar by submitting essays and being be-ing the winners of the Bridgcr Valley Ek-ctric Association, Inc. energy essay competition. Lisa's essay was on "Converting Garbage Into Energy." Terry'l essay was on "The First Electric Elec-tric System In Manila." Starla Des-pain'i Des-pain'i essay was also one of the winners win-ners and Veronica Triplett wai runner-up. Neither of these girls were able lo attend the wmfnar. The annual Davis Griffith reunion was held at the Ruble Ranch on Aug. 10-11-12. Activities included rafting the river, listening or playing music by Mrs. Ruble's brother, Bill Yohey, and his music associates. After leaving Manila their trip will include Yellowstone, Wyo. and the state of Washington. Kenzee Jo Ellsworth, Infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ellsworth, was blessed on Sunday, Aug. 5 at the Manila LDS Church.
