Steve Cochran scooted to the 26 yard line and Hreit Weldon pocketed a pass at the 18 yard line. Schulz performed a diving catch at Ihe four yard line for a first down and Cochran moved the Panthers closer to the goal line with a three yard run to the one. Mont Harmon was forced to punt the ball away. The Panthers acquired the ball on the Mont Harmon 38 yard line, but were pushed back to the 45 yard line. Vernal punted the ball away and Mont Harmon took over on its own 14 yard line. Colt Mortenson decked the Monl Harmon quarterback on the yard line and two Panthers pounced on a Price runner at the 5' a yard line. Vernal garnered the football on the Mont Harmon 34 yard line as the Price team was forced to punt the ball from deep inside their end zone. Winters carried the ball lo the 25 yard line and a penalty against Mont Harmon placed plac-ed Vernal on the 18 yard line. Cochran scooted to the 16 yard line on the final play of the third quarter.
