Thursday, Nov. 12 Project for Deeper Understanding: ‘The Decline of Organized Religion in the West' The Project for Deeper Understanding will present a public forum, "The Decline of Organized Religion in the West: What Does the Future Hold?" at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4594 N. Friday's and Saturday's screenings will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday's screening of "Peace Officer" will begin at 6 p.m. The Filmmaker's Showcase features an array of short films created by Utah filmmakers and their collaborators. Films ranging from 2 minutes to 20 minutes will be screened on Friday and Saturday and the feature-length documentary of Brad Barber and Scott Christopherson's documentary "Peace Officer," not rated, will screen on Sunday. Park City Film Series' Dual Language Immersion: ‘Eleanor's Secret' The Park City Film Series Dual Language Immersion program will host a free screening of Dominique Monery's "Eleanor's Secret" at the Jim Santy Auditorium in the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., and the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute. Blvd., on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. Nat has fond memories of his eccentric Aunt Eleanor reading to him from her enormous collection of storybooks but is frustrated by his inability to read the books himself. He must find a way to get back the books and learn to read an ancient spell to keep the characters alive for future generations of children. Saturday Climbing Wall at the Swaner EcoCenter The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, offers climbing on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The climbing wall is open to most ages. The EcoCenter will provide the climbing harness, but climbers must wear closed-toe shoes. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver.
