Friday, May 30 Park City Gallery Association Gallery Stroll On the last Friday of each month, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., members of the Park City Art Gallery Association offer a free, unique showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits and art events. This month's stroll, which will be held Friday, May 30, gives residents and Park City visitors the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City's exciting art scene. Leo Kottke at the Egyptian Theatre Leo Kottke, known as a master of the acoustic guitar, and his innovative fingerpicking style on six- and 12-string guitars, will perform at the Egyptian Theatre from Friday, May 30, to Sunday, June 1. Evening curtain for Friday and Saturday is 8 p.m. Sunday's concert will start at 6 p.m. Kottke draws influences from blues, jazz and folk music, and has created his own syncopated, polyphonic melodies. Topics will include the bonding process, the causes of Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) and Attachment Disorder (AD), differences and symptoms, a documentary screening of "Finding Hope for Reactive Attachment Disorder," how to improve attachments, alternative approaches for parents and teachers and therapeutic issues. S.R. 224, will collect donations every Saturday in May from 9 a.m. until noon for its annual garage sale that will be held June 7. The church will accept anything except mattresses, electronics, skis, car seats, underwear, computers and televisions. Saturday Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, will host nature walks every Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. During the tour, people will learn about wetland science, native plant and animal species and the history of the Swaner Preserve. These tours take place on the generally flat terrain of the Swaner wetlands and are appropriate to anyone that is relatively active. The cost is $5/person or free for members. For more information, call 435- Sunday, June 1 21st Annual Park City Children's Fair Fundraiser On June 1, the Park City Children's Fair, presented by Soaring Wings Montessori School, will be held at City Park, from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The annual event, which features an array of carnival games and other activities, has become a favorite tradition for families and kids in the area, and all the money raised will be donated to community nonprofit organizations. Park City Film Series Books 2 Movies: ‘Holes' On Saturday, June 7, at 3 p.m., the Park City Film Series' Books 2 Movies program will show a free screening of Andrew Davis' "Holes," rated PG.
