Show Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues, August 21-24, 2010 The Park Record C-2 'Go Green, Get Lean' seminar and how to maximize health and flavor while minimizing the country's carbon footprint. The event, which is free and open to the public, is the fourth in an educational series presented by this year's Leadership Park City class. The evening with Geagan pulls together and adds to the information presented individually in previous events such as eating locally, growing vegetables at home, the carbon footprint of shipping fruits and vegetables from other countries to local grocery stores and why all of this matters for personal health. Event attendees will learn five easy ways to look and feel better as well as tips on sorting out the issues about buying and eating fish. Geagan will also offer a Utah guide to how individuals can have a significant impact on reducing the food footprint and immediately boost personal health.
