The 5K will be accompanied by a memory wall and memory tables for anyone who would like to display a photograph, poem, candle or memento. A durable banner with a photograph of lost loved ones can be purchased at contactus@pchsmemorial.com. The race will begin at 9 a.m. with sameday registration and T-shirt pickup starting at 8 a.m. The course begins at Dozier Field and winds through Park Meadows. Race registration can be submitted at pchsmemorial.com for $25 or $30 the day of the race. All proceeds go to the PCHS National Honor Society. The Utah Olympic Park is h o s i m its fourth annual Olympic Hill C . ' V I J to benefit the youth of the Park City Nordic Ski Club on Saturday, May 29. Olympic gold and silver medalist Bifly Demong and silver medalist Brett Camerota will compete in the walk, run or crawl up the Olympic Park Road in your choice of a 2.5 or 5 kilometer course (400 or 1,000 feet of vertical). Entry includes zip-line ride, live music, swag bag and prizes. Register early at www.pcnordicskiclub.com. Cost is $20 for ages 17 and younger, $25 for adults. MEMORIAL DAY 5K HSBCAMPS RETURN TO PARK CITY AT WILLOW CREEK Basin Recreation will hold a 5K fun run/walk at Willow Creek Park on Memorial Day for recreational runners, families and even leashed pets. The approximate 5K will start at 9 a.m., with a one-mile race for children up to 12 years old starting at 10 a.m. and a 100-yard race for children six and younger will start at 10:30 a.m. Preregistered participants will receive a T-shirt, as will late entcants if supplies last. All proceeds of the event will go to Basin Recreation's scholarship fund. Preregistration has concluded. Race-day prices are $15 per person and $40 per family. SUMMER CAMPS FOR TEENS IN BASIN Teen adventure camps for kids 11-15 are being put on by Basin Recreation this summer. Campers will visit water parks, play laser tag, paint ball, hike and more. A brand-new Art Adventure camp offers kids the chance to learn the basics of a variety of art mediums from local instructors.
