Show ec a SCENE & HEARD C-9 WED/THURS/FRI, JUNE 11-13, 2008 THE PARK RECORD wwvy.parKrecord.com -He r> I'M 'Jll Beauty and the bus stop The bus stop at Comstock is about to get a little livelier. Arts-Kids has teamed up with local artist Bob Commander on a public art project to add a little personality to Park City's bus stops. Kids are working on a design for the bus shelter in front of the Learning Center that will make the shelter look like a bus, with a dog running by the wheel and a snowboarder following behind. Kids gathered at the Eaton Barn last Saturday to work on the project. Clockwise from top left: A steady hand paints spots on the dog. These letters are part of the decorations that will liven up Park City's bus stops. Elizabeth Wentland, 11, get some inspiration from the horse Big Tim at the Eaton Barn. Bob Commander, an artist and the creator of the bus stop art project, helps Wentland and Kerimn Glass as they paint the dog. Glass, 10, focuses on her artwork. Painting will continue on June 11, 13,18 and 21 and all kids are welcome to join. Call Arts-Kids at 615-7878 to sign up. .1 To purchase these and other photos by The Park Record's award-winning photographers, visit parkrecord.mycapture.com photos by Scott Sine PARK CITY'S FOOD, SUMMIT WINE & JAZZ FESTIVAL Get Fresh. 100% Certified Angus Beef!
