The case was reported at 7:41 p.m., but the Park City Police Department's public logs do not provide details. They do not show where at the resort the snowboard was reportedly taken. The Police Department often handles a run of cases involving stolen skis and snowboards as crowds start arriving at PCMR and Deer Valley Resort, which is also largely within the department's jurisdiction. Some of the cases usually involve someone misplacing their equipment when they go inside a lodge, but the police determine others were swiped. The Police Department operates a ski-registration program. Information is available by calling the department, 615-5500. On Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 2:45 p.m., a dump truck and a semitrailer reportedly collided at the Swede Alley-Hcber Avenue intersection. Nobody was injured, the police say. At 3:07 a.m., six people crawled over a wall and into a hot tub area on the 2000 block of Prospector Avenue. They set off a fire alarm, the police were told. Surveillance cameras recorded them.
